The start of Summer!
June 4th, 2024
It’s been a while since I’ve given you a little update, so thought it was about time i did! Where are the weeks going? The months pass so quickly ….. can’t believe it’s June already.
I’ve been very busy working on various commissions this year and have had very little time to do any paintings for ‘myself’. Did manage to paint four small paintings of Morecambe and Lancaster last month, which quickly sold on social media. I’ve printed two of them, just small editions of 50 prints and these have just been put onto the website today! They are two fun, vibrant colourful prints of the ever popular Eric Morecambe statue and also of the Stone Jetty Cafe …. hope you like them.
Keep a look out on Facebook and Instagram for images of the commissions I’ve completed. I’ve almost finished a large commission which I’m excited to show you in July. I’ll soon be starting a large wall mural in Morecambe, and will show you the progress once I’m on with it.
I’ve been working in schools again, doing two days a month in St Patrick’s Primary in Heysham as their artist in residence. We’ve been working in the library, painting murals on all the walls and I’ve even got the ceiling to paint! Painted a large mural of ‘The Gruffalo’ and am currently on with another featuring the ‘Mr Men’.
As you will have noticed, we don’t have any greeting cards for sale on the website at present. I’m in the process of having a large new range printed, which should be available towards the end of July.
That’s it for now – hopefully we will soon start to get some summer weather!
