Burgh Island, a tidal island featuring the Art Deco Burgh Island Hotel. Built in 1929 and full of 30’s glamour, it’s a step back in time and it’s no surprise that Agatha Christie and Noel Coward spent much of their time here. The island also boasts The Pilchard Inn, dating from 1327 and steeped in tales of pirates and smugglers! A great surfing beach too!
