All Kate’s linocut prints are designed and hand-printed from her studio in the Lune Valley, Lancashire. Kate graduated from Falmouth University in 2020 with a BA(Hons) degree in Textile Design, but has decided to specialise in printmaking & illustration.
Swallow print in Ivory Black ink, hand printed onto white 145g Zerkall mould-made paper, which is part rag, acid free and has 2 deckle edges and 2 cut edges.
Swallows Return was designed and printed at the end of April 2020, in the middle of ‘lockdown’. Spending so much time by the River Wenning & Lune this year, enabled Kate to see the return of the swallows on the actual day they arrived. One day they weren’t there, and the next day they were! Always a joy to see, and a tinge of sadness on their departure in September.
Each print is hand signed, titled and numbered and comes with a board backing & is cellophane wrapped for protection.
