Annual Christmas Art Exhibition
October 28th, 2019
This year my annual art exhibition takes place over the weekend of Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 November 2019 on the ground floor of the Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park, Lancaster. The Ashton Memorial will be open both days from 10.30 am and will close at 4.00 pm.
This year I have been working on 12 paintings of the local area, including Jubilee Tower, Kirkby Lonsdale & Arnside in addition to Lancaster & Morecambe. All these original paintings will be on display and available to purchase, along with new limited edition prints and canvases, which you will be able to order. All orders received over the weekend will be delivered by Christmas.
My daughter Kate Jacobs is also exhibiting a small selection of her botanical illustrations. Kate is in her final year at Falmouth University completing her degree in Textile Design, so will be unable to be at the exhibition this year, but she very much hopes you enjoy seeing her work, both originals and limited edition prints.
My latest Christmas card ‘Lancaster on Ice’ will be available to buy over the weekend, as well as a new range of greeting cards and the 2020 calendar, featuring the Lancaster on Ice painting on the front cover!
The exhibition is very family friendly, so please do pop along and see if you can get some ideas for early Christmas presents while enjoying a glass of bubbly and mince pie! I will be there all weekend, and it would be great to see you.
Of course there are lots of other things to do in Williamson Park, including the fabulous butterfly house if you need to warm up, children’s play areas and a great cafe if the mince pie hasn’t filled you up.
See you there!
